I am looking for the same answer on this... Also, where are some places / types of guages to look at if I want to replace the stock ones?

I know some guy put TL-S gauge on his 2001 TL. The only thing doesn't work is VSC/TCS light. 2001 & 2000 are pretty much same, so I think you can be able to installl it.

hope this helps. from what i read the only thing that doesnt match up is the tsc light. whichi personally dont care about!
