I wish TL-S came in 5spd. I was driving 5spd since I was 14. I actually learned how to drive a car on the 5spd Integra.
Even though I'm getting a TL-S (tomorrow), there isn't a day goes by that I wish that it was a 5spd transmission.
Every car I've ever owned had a manual transmission. This is actually my first automatic trans.
For somebody who is a manual trans fan, TL's SS is like a toy. Some people saying that its all the same, but I know its not.
I'm gonna have a hard time adjusting, but I still love the TL-S and I think I'll be happy with it.

You will adjust to it in time its not like the real thing.I also drove 5speed Honda automobiles for 20yrs. This is my first car with automatic tranny. I did drive other cars in my family with automaic trans but my cars that I owned were all 5 speed. The SS does hold the car in gear its great for winding roads. I would rather have the sport - shift than a normal automatic.

its not the same, there's a half a second lag between shifts, but you also dont have to worry about burning your clutch or the 3rd pedal, and u can still engine break and have fun whenever u want to.. i find its much better for areas like nyc that have traffic.. stick is a ***** there... but the car still has a good kick when u need it...
