those numbers don't quite add up
He is 3400 ls...sure if you remove soe interior items. est 320 hp sure with headers and intake exhaust. 12 seconds....I am doubtful of this considering the faster times seen here have been mid 14's and even the faster CLS 6 speed times are mid 13's. Trpa speed of 111 mph...rediculous. Stock TLS trap around 93-96 mph...you would have to be pushing more than 400 hp at the crank to trap over 100 mph at that weight. Nice car though.

And what did you replace the factory engine with? I would be surprised if I run very low 14's with headers and exhaust. I have a little more power but not that much but wasn't asking for too much more out of a v6 sports sedan.

I/H will get you into the low 14's. With just headers (exhausts really don't do anything) you should be 14.3-14.6 depending on the environment, traction, weight, etc.....

With just an intake I was around 14.9-15.0 (estimated from 1/8 mile runs) on a day with no traction and high wind.

He posted his mods, I/H/E wont get a TL-S in the 12's. Especially with all his audio upgrades in the trunk. :p

Just so everyone knows, in a 3600lb car, it will take a minimum of 380hp to run 111mph, if not more (gearing, traction...). The magic 10lbs/hp mark is exactly 109mph, FYI.

That TL would have to have the 3.5L conversion and a 75hp nitrous kit to run that mph, which is possible, if only the trans wouldn't grenade. I think it is a load of BS, but I have seen a lot stranger things at the racetrack - how about a 12 second Yugo?

Not really. On my '80 Z28, I run about 320hp at the crank, and I run through the traps at 102mph. Car weighs just over 3600lbs with me in it.

That guy is full of it, if he thinks he's running 111mph through the traps in a TL-S, though. And, for some reason, even though every TL-S weighs 3550, and he ADDED a bunch of heavy stereo equipment, and yet his weighs only 3400? Did he take out all seats, carpeting, and sound insulation???

EDIT- According to this calculator, it would take 350 wheel HP to run 3750lbs down the track at 111mph. I used a generous 18% powertrain loss, too.

haha...I was giving the guy the benefit of the doubt he was removing all this stuff

oooops...typo..I meant to say over 110 mph. I know guys in cars rated around the same as your Z28 (turbo Audi A4's w bigger turbos and race fuel) who are trapping between 102-106 depending on air temps.
