TL prices?

When i bought my 99 TL in april i was just looking for a nice car and i found the TL. i didnt really know how much they should cost but i liked the black on black one i found. It was listed as $12,495 with 98k. i got the deal down to $9,700. i thought it was a good deal but recently i have been seeing like 03' type s with navi for like $11,900 with 91k, and like 99 with 67k for like $8,000. Did i pay too much? i didnt research too much i basically liked the car and bought it on the spot.

it is all about the conditions, mileage, and title of each vehicle. for the price you bought I belive it is right. at some point the price cannot get any lower unless the car has problem.

Well obviously the lower in price you go the less you get, spending a few K more on a used car just gets less mileage and/or more options, less wear/tear. I got a pristine 2002 TL-S in April for $16,100 with 56,000 miles and a 7 year/100K warranty. Over the long run, its not like you got a bad deal, just drive it till it hits 200K and sell it for $4 to 5.5K. Thats not bad deprerciation, when you look at buying a new TL for 33,500 +ttl with nav and watching it tank $15--$20K in price for the first 5 years of ownership.
