HP and torque are fine but it may be geared for the low end. Dive one and see what it's like in the upper speeds.

I agree with Tom Blasing. In addition to gearing, the weight of a Nissan Titan is far more than that of a TL. I haven't seen numbers for the Titan, but a stock TL-P should be able to do low 7's in the 0-60, and low 15's in the quarter.

My buddy has the ford f250 Turbo Diesel, that thing is a ton heavier than a TL but it'll beat the new Dodge magnum with a 5.7 hemi, and I'm pretty sure that it'll beat a TL-s.. it's way over 300 in both the hp and torque.

Yo pat,

as a matter of fact, the Ford Turbo Diesel's produce 500 lb/ft of torque. Those things are a beast...they're main use is for towing huge ass things (yachts, trailers, etc.)

The torque curve on those trucks are completely different than the TL. They aren't quite bit for off the line power, more for highway pulling. I'm guessing if you took an empty Stock TL against the Diesel, the TL would pull ahead. The TL is built for speed on the highway...

That's my .02 cents

TITAN would bit a '99 but with an 00+ it would be tight. Never a typeS though...blood never lies.

0-60 stats:
99TL=7.2
00+=6.9
typeS=6.2
TITAN=6.9
CAYENE=9.7 lol, my moms dodge caravan would anihilate this one.
CAYENE S=7.2
CAYENE turbo=5.6 ...i just shit my pants...brb.

As a "matter of fact" it is 560 torque and 325hp.. and it could pull on almost any sedan from a roll, even a a-spec jeff..
