TL-P to TL-S conversion?

What would it take to convert a TL-P engine into a TL-S? Not the guages, and VSC and all that, just the engine.

So far all I can think of is the throttle body, intake manifold, and i think cams?

ya man. starting from internals to cams, intake to ecu and much more. fyi these i listed already make up for the price diff between an -S and a -p not counting rims, interior and a better resale value

Will the type S seats be a direct fit with the TL-P?

Would I really need the type-s ECU or could I just let the current tl-p ECU remap itself after installing everything?

Yes, you'd need the ECU.

Your best bet is to buy the whole engine and ecu. The engine internals are completely different.....

The j32a2 has a better crank, rods and cylinder sleeves from what I have been told. Along with the differences in the cylinder heads.

dont even bother trying, you can find a used low mileage type-s engien cheaper. Then you have to factor in te differences in wiring and you will also need a different ECU. The list goes on and on

lol no. I was involved in an accident a little over a year ago that put my TL under a blazer . It was fixed and its the car I still drive today.

Anyhow I was just wondering because I live in Alabama......and a full TL-S/CL-S motor down here is insanely expensive, anywhere. I REALLY want kris' car...
