Tl-p & Tl-s
Just wanted to vent on how much hotter the TL-s Is then the Premium. Not to mention, how much faster, much better sounding (louder)....And just that much damn hotter. Can i get an AMEN?

stock TL-S vs. TL-P
nth much difference
in city driving they are virtually the same, TL-S gets more power after 4500rpm and TL-P suspension is more comfortable
but money wise TL-S is a little expensive for 3000 more htan the TL-P with such a little upgrade

On that note it was worth it for me but the TLP is a great car nonetheless. This is kind of a worthless thread as it will only piss some peeps off. Oh and I agree that the 04TL is better than the TLS and soon there will be a SC for it (from what I hear) and nat, you'll have a harder time beating that one spray or not!

Overall the cars are so similar that its pointless to say one is better. They just have their slight differences.

i think its just a matter of preferance. hey, i wouldnt have minded a TL-S but im still not complaining about my TL-P, my parents got it for me at quite a deal and the color i wanted. its unfortunate that some of us didnt have the option of a TL-S when choosing our TL-P's but u can't do anything about that now can u.

the fact of the matter is, the 99 to 01 owners did the right thing b/c there was no type S available at the time, so we can't call them haters, they had no choice. The type S owners who didn't get the 04 fall in the same boat, there was no 04 available between 02 & 03 so you can't compare not getting an 04.
HOWEVER, what I don't understand, is given the choice of a regular or type S for an extra 2Gs how any type of car enthusiast whatsoever would chose the regular. 260hp, 17" wheels, sportier seats & suspension are well worth 2K to a "car person". Now I'm not exactly saying if you got a tl-p you are not a car person, I just can't imagine why you would chose the p over the s?
