I just picked up my first TL. A 1999 with Navi. I'm looking forward to hooking up the ride and I'm getting tons of ideas from you guys.

I am interested in learning who else lives around Central Florida.

I see that Blazin TL is also in Orlando, Are there any more of us out there ?:o

 

Cpngrats on your TL! I just got my 99 SSM w/ navi 2 days ago. If you dont mind me asking, how much did you get it for? I know used cars have a slightly different value Down South compared to the northeast. What color? Mielage? Spoiler? I am always in Orlando on vacation. I never drove down though. This time, I am thinking about driving. The navi would be fun on that drive! I hope you have been bitten by the mod bug, I already have!

Black with Tan leather, Nav, Factory Kit and factory chrome wheels, Gold package and HELL YEA I've been bitten by the Mod Bug but still can't afford to do anything....Sucks when you have so many responsibilities. I should be in better shape in the next couple of months so that's when I'm planning to get down and dirty with the mods.

Is it tinted? If not, make that your first mod... Its hot as hell down here already 90+, I got 15% all round...

Yea its tinted, looks nice, can't wait to lower it. My Dad works at Pep Boys so I have to start taking advantage of his discounts.

I remember seeing a nice looking Silver TL there a couple of weeks ago.

Picked the ride up at APL but not to pleased with the customer service they provide after the sale. I don't think I buy from them again or send any business there way. I was having vibration in the steering wheel at 65mph and brought the car back so they can find the problem. After having my car for a day the told me there was nothing wrong. The more I drove the worse it got so I ended up taking it to Pep Boys where the balanced the tires and reduced the vibration alot. When I called the APL they wouldn't even refund me the money I spent on balancing the tires, They said I should have brought the car to them and they would have done it for a fee. I told them that they had my car for a day and couldn't find out why the vibration even though it was as simple as balancing the F_cking Tires. I'm a firm believer in Customer Service and they showed me that after the sale you mean nothing to them.

I wasnt down there recently, but I grew up at Pinehurst park Apts on W. Oak ridge, boy, the areas changed a bit....

my 99 is more of a dark gray (Laguana) not the silver...

anyway, I got mine from the big carzilla or carpalooza tent event for around 22k with no nav, no kit, nothin.. it had 30k miles onit and they gave me 15k for my 98 CRV which was a good deal... we'll have to get up sometime over a beer a 8.....
