Hey all.......I may have found some extra cash (after the next stang mod-fest) ....not as much as I'd like, but something. I'm thinking of starting w/ an AEM or Injen CAI. Does it matter which one? Where can I get the best prices on either? What hp gains can I expect? I'm new to this import modifying......be gentle! :p

Both AEM or INJEN are good, you can't go wrong with either one. The HP is around like maybe 6-7hp gain? You can order it from this site or www.autocarparts.com They have the best price compared anywhere.

 

I feel that all intakes systems are the same, its the filter that makes the most difference.

Seriously though.. I had the same debate.... they are basically the same, however, I did some reading on here from people who had both at one point, and the Injen seemed to be the way to go. It seemed to fit better and provide a little extra oomph. Now I have no comparison... but I'm happy with mine. Plus... the Injen is slighty cheaper. What really made up my mind was that the Injen blue seemed to match better then the AEM blue... silly, I know, but every little thing matters ......
