TL in Maine Qs....
I have a few questions...
1.) How does a 2G TL handle in the snow/ice? And should I switch to a 5W oil for the winter? Any other winterizing precautions i should take?
2.) If anyone isnt terribly busy, or if you are really bored, can someone with a 2002 TL w/ navi enter the following address into the nav system: "61 cumberland avenue...portland, maine"...I just want to see if its in the database. Also, does the navi map have portland, maine mapped out fairly well?
thanks in advice.....usc is losing RIGHT now, but i'm sure by the next response they will be up by 30

the TL is great in the snow with a good set of tires. I prefer dedicated Snow tires. Switch to 5w? what are you running now? If your running what the factory recomends you wouldnt want to switch to a thicker oil in the winter. (even though 5w30 is perfectly fine in the winter and what the TL used to require)

you should be alright with some good snow tires. i am currently running that weight but it's been cold here for a while. i have an aftermarket navi but i would think that the city of portland is well mapped (biggest city in maine). i have the pioneer avicn1 and it has pretty much the whole state of maine mapped. hppe that helps and make sure you have winter gear.
