yup.

compare K&N (a well known brand) to Wal-Mart (a well known brand for cheap shit) the decision should be easy.

happy modding. post some pics too. lets put you in some debt. the mod bug has bitten

lol, TL's aren't fast stock. My stock 3rd gen is one of the slowest cars i've ever owned, I bought it for a great luxurious daily driver not a sports car and that's exactly what it is. It's not slow like a stock ex civic but it's by far not a sports car either.

But if you're determined to go for performance then i'd say just toss a comptech on there and call it a day.

^ thank you. for some reason people were thinking you wanted the car to run 11's

Basically you just want a little more performance which is what i understood from your OP,

but you know forums. they take it and run with it

your car should run that or lower STOCK...

i've run between 15.55 and 15.75 with a stock 99 TL. (4 speed)

you have some issues with your car that you need to figure out before modding anything to go faster... you obviously have some trouble in there somewhere...

and i remember you saying something bout a family member with a TL-S running high 15's as well... he also had something wrong with his car. the 2G TL-S is a low 15 to high 14 second car.

I have almost 93xxx miles and transmition shifts nice. I have tried cleaning my gas tank by putting in the chevren cleaner stuff, i tried flooring my car and i dont know if its normal but it has a delay when flooring it. Well please help me guys

^^ first piece of advice... STOP flooring your car. it sounds like it is in need of servicing.. last thing you need to do is test the waters with how fast it will accelerate/go...

and at those miles you will need timing belt and water pump changed.

i have 176,000 miles on my car and it is not having the symptons you are explaining... get it looked at asap...
