TL factory subwoofer problems

I recently had an amp installed in my car, when i took it out the oem speakers still worked fine. Unfortunately, after a while the oem subwoofer started crackling, so i thought that the speaker wires were touching since they had installed a pac converter for the aux wires, which i later removed. That didn't seem like the problem, so i ordered a second sub off ebay that was OEM made for the same year acura. That didn't work either, it kept crackling. I would love to get the some sort of a solution, because now that i don't have any subs, the sound is not as good.

I don't think the amp is messed up, it's bose after all. If the amp is messed up i don't know what i'll do. Please help me.

SOmeone give me some troubleshooting tips please, anything would help

BTW it's a 99 TL 9" sub. I don't have anymore money to spend on this audio stuff anymore.

so you are powering the oem sub with the oem amp right? if its crackling id say double check the wiring where teh pac converter was hooked up. if thas fine id probably say that it may be the amp. if both subs made the crackling

id try testing the sub on a home stereo or something to see if it crackles hooked up to something else. if it doesnt id be inclined to say something may be wrong with the oem amp, or a wire some where
