TL Aerodynamics

Soon I will be ordering my factory body kit (thru Tim of course) and wanted everyones opinion on whether or not to put on the factory rear wing as well. Would it look odd without the wing? Opinions.....thanks.

Go for the wing...I think it would look odd with the kit and no wing.

No, it looks okay without the spoiler, but it's personal pref. Some people say the lines of the car look cleaner, but me, i like the spoiler. I say, as long as you have the kit, youre fine!

A matter of personal preference. If you want a more aggressive look, more "race-inspired", go with a factory spoiler. If you want a sporty look that's not so agressive, go with a Wings West spoiler. If you want a touring car look, leave the spoiler off.

If you are going to get the bodykit, might as well get the spoiler too because IMO it will look weird.

well, to me, the factory spoiler is ugly...period

kit, no kit, if you have the wing it screws up the entire look of the car

i like the no wing look. it looks uncluttered

if you really want a wing, at least get the ww or mugen

Well, the car looks better without the wing if you don't have the body kit....

If you have the kit, then get the wing as well.

JMHO...

Matter of opinion. I think the rear spoiler with the kit makes the car look a bit sporty, but not bad. The kit with no spoiler looks good just not as sporty .

You could go either way really, but I prefer the flush mounted (like the mugen or wings west) as opposed to the wing type (factory).

Problem solved.

How many "wings" do you see on Benz S500's or Audi A8's? Exactly...none. Wings are for maxi pads. Be pimp, pass on the wing for the TL. It looks i-ight, but better without.

You're welcome.

Ken

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm going for the body kit first and see how it looks without the wing.

You can get an OEM spoiler from the dealer. It's gonna cost you twice as much as the one Tim sells (I checked into it).
