Cool tjkazai - Questions

Hey everyone,
My dad and I are planning to remove mud flaps and adding tint and fixing scratches on the 02 tl.

Well.. first question is:

Does anyone know where to get CHEAP or good dark Tint in Toronto?

If not I'll just go research or go to tint king in toronto.

and second question is..

How can i fix a scratch on a car? cause whenever theres a scratch on the rear tl bumper it's like hard plastic.. it can like never break lol. is there like a way i can fill that in and make it look like theirs no scratches?

- car is pretty dirty..

ALSO: Tell me what I should fix or remove.. thanks!
Heres a pic:

lets see a close up pic of the scratch

and being a manager of a auto detail shop for 4 yrs now it all depends on how bad and how deep the scratch is

you can either use touch up paint to the best of yer ability to try and fill it in or use a buffer with a foam pad and sum aggresive compound to try and buff it out

again it all depends on HOW BAD AND HOW DEEP THE SCRATCH IS

well if there are sum that are deep that YOU THINK need to be filled in with touch up paint----do that

and if ya dont have access to a buffer----you can just buy sum buffing compound and use a wax pad and buff it out by hand to the best of yer ability

just look for the right compound that fits yer needs
( read the label on the bottle )

well believe it or not, the mud flaps actually do protect the paint on the side and keep the car cleaner, although while destroying the paint underneath the mud flap.

i had to remove my front mud flaps when i got my coilovers and the paint underneath was etched into. i noticed the side skirts and doors getting dirtier though as well after a couple weeks of driving.

its up to you.

if anything, just get it professionally detailed. that should minimize or take care of any small scratches because i dont see anything major in those pics. i am sure you are aware that an entire repaint is thousands of dollars.

Well black is a very hard color to keep clean. If you want to buff something out make sure you have done it before, you can leave swirl marks that are easily seen on your color.

But when black is clean boy is it pretty. As for tint, just take it to a shop, save yourself the headache.
