Tire Size Help

I am thinking of putting a set of 245-45-16 on on my stock wheels. What do you guys think. Will they be too low. I want a sporty look but I don't want to lower the car or change rims (yet). What suggestions do you guys have otherwise?

1. 245/45-16 will not fit on a 6.5" wheel.

2. 245/45-16 are 1" shorter than stock. Even if you did get these to fit on your stock wheels, the gap between the top of the tire and the fender will be increased - not indicative of the sporty look you are wanting to achieve.

225/55-16 is a good alternative for a wider tire.

Thanks for the reply

those wouldn't look any different than the 215-60s on it right now, will they?

Actually the 215/60's are a bit taller than the 225/55's....by less than 1/2". So theoretically the fender gap would increase by 1/4" or so.

So I guess my best bet is to increase the size of the wheel, right? At least in order to give it that look I'm trying to achieve.
