Tinting Question

My friend just tinted his car and his rear windshield top part didnt come out right because of the dot matrix on the top part of it... he told me that most cars that have that on it get air bubbles inside it and its pretty impossible to make it smoothened out...

has anyone else had their rear tinted and had the same problem? if not, how did they go about dodging that problem?

thanks in advance

I had that problem at first..........but with time, sun and smoothing out along the way, you should be able to get almost every crevice in the dot-matrix filled. I kept mine out in the sun during first 3 or 4 days and smoothed the tint easily. Hope this helps

Hey Aeyjay

What did you use to smooth out the air bubbles and how did you do it? Push them to the top or sides or ?

When you guys had the vinyl strip put over the dot matrix, what % tint did u guys use? because i personally dnot want to tint my car out that much... just 35% or if i see it and it seems too dark for my taste, i might go for 50%... but will the strip look weird if i have light tint in the back?
