hello all...

i need tinted windows!!!
i just cant drive without tinted windows... but i have no idea where i should take my car to for the perfect tint... from my experience... i dont want to mess up my tint and redo it over and over... esp the rear windshield... i worried about the rear windshield dotted area... please advice me which shop to go...
some tl member recomm. me Pro Tint in Temple City...
what do you think? any other shop recomm.?
should i tint my windows now? or just wait till summer when the weather is hot that way my tint film will dry faster and better?

The only good places I know of is Pro Tint....and California Tint in Rosemead. Harry's Auto Sound/Impex Motorsports. I know all except for Pro Tint. I can hook you up bro.

Go to Pro-Tint. I have my TL, plus about 5 other cars that have been done there. They do a good job. Get the titanium tint on your car, it looks the best.

My friend got a deal there..that's 5 titanium tint..all around...and a japanese invisible film in the front windshield..to block UV lights..
it's really good...and all that for 240 ..let's try to get it down to 220 or something

That sounds real good!!! I want that invisible tint...Actually...I think I can get some hook ups there. plus..the more cars the better. Can you hold on and wait for me George. One of the first things I want to do is tint my TL. I'm down...just hold out for a few weeks till I get it.

Don't ever go to Calif Tint!!!!!

They cut my rubber sealed on the side and left small bubbles in the tints.

I got my TL tinted at Pro Tint. $150, for all the windows and the rear windshield including the black matrix dots with titanium tint. Lifetime warranty. You need to haggle to get this price, but they'll do it. I've posted this before along with pics. just do a search.

u sure the price can't go any lower?

i want to get 5 tinted and the japanese clear film in front. for 200 or 220

hey, i might be in for two cars if we can get a good price. definitely has to be under 180. 150 might work.

WHAT DOES THE FRONT UV FILTER DO? do they take off the doors to get the tint under the rubber seals? if they don't than the tint will peel off eventually.

My Accord has the Quantum Reflective tint (Greenish one) and I got it for $110, for all 5 windows. I got hooked up at Calif Tint, cause I know them. And I'm sure they'll give us a hell of a deal if we go with like 4-5 cars. BUT...I will have to check with them if they have the "titanium" tint (chrome one???) and the invisible tint. If they do...who's down?! I was thinking of just tinting my TL the same tint I got for the Accord. The greenish reflective gives the white color a classy look. Who knows...let me know guys. Plus the chrome..or titanium tint is illegal due to the fact that it blinds other drives under the sun. Trust me..I know....and it's annoying when your trying to drive.

i got mine at Calif Tint and they didn't do an good job on the dot part of the rear window, but the other windows are fine.

I got the tint spray film and also this silver coated sticker that i might use for eyelids, covering corner lights, and handles. It matches my satin silver. project is underway!! I'll take pics later

I can get the Quantum tint..or any other tint....I'm still trying to verify if he has the chrome one. But I can get us tinted for $100 at Calif Tint.

Yes...Titanium Tint...Yes..Lifetime warranty...I'm not sure about the japanese UV Film. He said it's no use whatsoever...but I think he's toying with me. I can ask him again. but I don't think it'll be much more.

Yeah...I've seen some people complain about them. But they did a terrific job on my Accord. I know the owner and the workers...that's why I have a good price.

i used a matched paint sticker for my corner lights...looks good IMO...
it's silver...almost the exact same coating as my silver..

ok, update!!!!

i went to protint today and tried to work a deal.

i got us 120 for titanium all the way around.
145 for quantum 17 (almost limo) all around.

i think we might be able to get 5 more bucks off when we show up.

i saw a quantum tinted 300zx there and loved it. only problem is that they said that the quantum, not the titanium, will mess with my nav.

the guys really endorsed the quantum and the front jap uv coating. said it would really help under the sun and protect the dash from drying and cracking. he said alone, the front was 80.

the BIG thing for non 2002 TLs is that they are going liquid tint my rear view mirrors BLUE just like the M3. they said thatll be 60 bucks. but im thinking of doing just the front clear and the side windows (since i already have a tint). they said they'll do both for 100, but like i said, when we show up, more discounts to come.

ALL prices are no TAX with cash. can u guys give me as much intput as possible about what u think about the clear front and is it worth it? let's get this together ASAP cuz they are ordering the liquid blue for me and im gonna do it in a few days.

My friend got the front thing...and a lot of ppl said it's worth it...it helps protect ur skin..since we can't get tint in front windshield..this is the way to go...and also it protects the dash and our seats in front.....it's a good investment..

my friend got it for 240..
i am sure we can get it down to 200

Hey guys, I am down to go in on the group tint!!!! I have 35% all the way around from Pro Tint, but im tired of getting sooo many tint tickets. Im looking to go light all the way around. If the price is pretty low...around $100 or so, count me in!!!!! Let me know what is up!

3 tickets in the last 8 months. Sucks. My car is black on black so its pretty dark at night. Just dont want to get pulled over for tinted windows if my BAC is over 0.08%!!!! Ha ha ha

I think Pro Tint sounds good. I tried The Tint Shop today...Didn't get a good price. 200 for platinum... O_O..How many cars we got? I'm gonna look at the titanium...most likely I'll go with Quantum....all around with the japanese film in the front.

Hey, that sounds like a good idea. Count me in for the blue side mirror tinting job too. When we go in, I might be able to talk the owner into lowering the price a little bit more too since I've gotten work done there before and he should remember me.

quick question...even when u got the tickets for ahving your windows 35%, u got them all dismissed right?....the law is in regards to the percfentage of film used right?..so if u have 35 percent but it looks hella dark on black on black it shouldnt matter?
