Question tint question

what's the % of the moonroof? 35%?

and a question for fellow 604 tler's. i know tinting side fronts are illegal but who has them tinted anyways? and at what %? i'm thinking of making those 50%...at least got some tint but maybe not that dark or noticeable to get me into trouble.

Many have tinted drivers and passenger front side windows. I think the max you want to tint is 35%. 50% will be fine. Any lower than 35% and you may get hassled. If you are scared, just open you sunroof when cops are around.

Get what my friend got man. Your driving a TL, not some riced up Civic or Tegra...get 32% in the front two, 28% in the rear two, and 19% for rear window. Trust me, you'll be much happier. I was kinda scared like you, but now I am glad I and my friends got what they got. I don't know the percentage for they dye, but these are the ones for the Quantum.

In BC, tint usually comes in multiples of 5, 10 or 15.
Sorry but we dont get none of this 19%, 28% or 32%.

tint laws in BC?

Hey,

Are there tint laws in BC? I read in article in a local paper in Ontario saying there is no specific #s quoted but it does clearly state that one must be able to 'clearly' see front passengers (to check seat belts).

I've got 20% sides & rear for over a month and no police has given me any problems. I agree with peiqinglong -- nice cars don't get bothered by cops.
