It looks way better than without, in my opinion. And it's clearly visiable.

Mines tinted. Shop didn't even ask.
I suppose all this doesn't really matter if you have a spoiler.

In Cali, front windows are not supposed to be tinted at all. But everyone does it anyways. Only matters when you get caught

But the shop I brought it to didnt cut any tint off just to get around the brake light.

yeah my tint on the front of my car got fucked up (under lifetime warranty) so i have to go get it retinted, im gonna try and get the back window redone while im at it

In VA, I was asked if I was going to get a spoiler (with the third brake light), which I was. So they tint the whole back window w/o cut out. But I think it is illegal to tint over the third brake light if you don't have a spoiler.

i had my car tinted from the factory and it covered the 3rd brake light.... and 2 weeks ago someone busted my rear windshield so i had to get it retinted for 45 bucks, and it still covers the 3rd brake light.... i still dodn't kno what places people bring thier car where they won't tint there, i see it all the time.. i'd be pissed if they did that to me...

Tinting deck stop signal light is illegal in NJ, possibly in other states too, but not in NY. I know sonce I recently got through moving to NJ in getting my cars inspected. I had to remove tint from two front windows and then from deck light to pass inspection ![Frown](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
So now I am looking for a relationship with local NJ shop to get me through my next inspections since I am about to tint my TL and all 5 windows, it just looks plain ugly with 2 cleared fron windows
Anyone in NJ can recommend the shop: tint and inspection?
