Timing Belt ?
I have bought a used TL a while ago (few months) and just found out it hasn't had the transmission service done yet, so that is going to be done very soon.
But my real Q is how would I be able to find out if my timing belt has/hasn't been changed?
and if I need a new timing belt would I get one from Acura or is there a better aftermarket brand?
The car has 126000km

60 miles is 100km for the conversion,
and in my TL manual, I would assume it would be in the American as well, it said trannie service at 96,000km or three years, I'm sure about that, I read it less than a week ago in the manual.

I dont think there is any "for sure" way to tell if your belt has been changed unless you can actually get a look at the belt ..You might be able to look in the area of the cover and see if the area looks like its been touched. But if your engine is clean forget it.
Bottom line is I doubt the previous owner did the belt and water pump considering your mileage. Just get it done to be safe and do the water pump at the same time if your going to keep the car.
My 0.02
And your correct ....Service schedule calls for a tranny flush at 96000 KMS. Just got mine done
