Time for a Newbie thread

Hey guys I am to be a new owner of a cute 2002 TL type S (working on passing the title through the proper channels.) Already I'm using the resources of this forum to rid myself of the dubious mirror liquid problem, (sent an email but have yet to receive a reply. I have a few questions: How do i know the color of the paint code or is white good enough? Is the radio code required to register the vehicle? and where do i get replacement screws and bolts for things such as the molding and the license plate holder?

I'll be posting pics later tonight after i get some shut eye.

Welcome. So cal tl owner huh? Nice? I'm in Long beach.

Register the vehicle for the Acura.com website? No, you dont need it.

Replacement screws, go to Acura and tell em what you need.

Welcome, www.acuraoemparts.com cheapest legit website to get OEM parts. Your mirror will get replaced soon enough but I recommend you to take it off for the time being and use your side mirrors for assistance. Now your paint color code is on the driver side door when you open it. You will see a sticker with alot of numbers and letters, just look for the paint code. No you dont need to register the radio code but always keep it in a safe place just in case you ever need it. Good luck and welcome once again.

My favorite color combo ever. Good luck with it. Have lots of fun.

Definitely feel free to post all questions. If you have one, someone here has an answer. Also, make sure to utilize the search feature if you think it's probably been discussed. Odds are it has!
