Does anyone that ownes a 2002 TL type S have tilting headrest? My manual says they are suppost to tilt forward and the article in Motor Trend says it has them too. I really wanted those on my seats, it makes for a more comfortible ride. Just wondering why they said it has it and mine doesn't.

 

I second your question. I can raise and lower but not tilt. Perhaps we should go buy Headrests for Dummies?

 

I had the same question, and after looking at the manual i've come to the decision that only the TL-P will have tilting headrests... the picture shows the plush round ones in the manual... which means we(previous tl owners) are once again stuck without tilting headrests ... but on the bright side, they provide a lot more support then the TL ones did, and u can actually lean back and still be able to drive...

My dealer was trying to figure it out, but it turns out that the tilt headrest they mention means that the headrest is tilted a little forward. It's not adjustable.
