I got a 1997 green 3.2 TL and owe about $6,500 and could prob sell it for $8,500-$9,000. The note runs @ $275 per month till Jan 1 2007.

I want a newer TL and if I sell current car am either thinking

2002 TL-s. Can get it for $19,000-$20,000 with low 30K miles from uncle who is wholesaler OR

wait till he finds a 2004 TL with nav, currently wholesale is bout $26,000-$28,000.

Advice?

 

imo, the 02-03 tl-s looks way better than the newer 04+ models

 

the older model looks better on the outside, but the newer model's interior is better and you won't have to worry about the faulty transmission...

 

but your also talking almost 10k more money to spend.
I would go with an 03-S
