So with a quarter million miles on my 03, lots of tiny squeaks from the suspension bushings, a constant rattle out of the sunroof, the need to replace all of the cooling system hoses, now 12 years old, I decided to look at the TLX.

Nice enough car.

Then I looked at the TLX forum....holy crap there seems to be a high number of transmission issues. Jerky shifting, reverse acceleration.

Maybe I stay away?

 

Buy a Lexus or a RDX (old transmission). Or a used TL or a used TSX?

 

Problem is..SO many cars look the same...nothing says "buy me". Except maybe an old MB 560 SEC!

 

oH MAN. Love the 560 SEC. I saw an original Brabus on for sale in Brentwood recently. Missed it. Asking $8500.

How about a 850Csi with manual trans and a V12?
