Thermoblok Questions
I just purchased the thermoblok spacers and have yet to install them. Lately I read a thread about them that suggested they will cause the engine to run hot enough to use more coolant and even burn some oil? -Nothing too extreme just keep and eye on it? Would the addition of a UR pulley cause my engine to run even hotter yet with both of these mods (not sure if it underdrives the waterpump)? Is there a need to be concerned with any of this?

Drive fast & swerve
I had the spacers put in over 12K miles ago and have seen no additional use of engine coolant, nor have I had any problems with excessive oil burn. However, I did notice the engine coolant smell around for about a month, but I wrote that off to just spilled coolant since it went away...and the levels stayed the same.
As for the pulley question, I haven't changed mine, so I couldn't help out there, but overall I wouldn't worry.

Nadawood your source data must be incorrect. I have had the thermoblock spacers installed on my '02 TL-S for over two weeks with no increase in the block temperature.
These spacers do not increase the block temperature or increase oil or coolant consumption.

if you do some research you will find from people who have had the spacers for alot longer than 2 weeks will say that their heads do run warmer and there is an increase use in coolant and oil.
If this does not apply to your case you must have a very special car.

I researched the spacers long before I installed them and you are the first person to make the claims of increased oil and coolant consumption. If you have some source data please post it. While it is always a good ideal to monitor your oil and coolant levels the addition of these spacers do not increase the consumption of oil and coolant.
If your car is using more oil and coolant you must have a problem with your vehicle other than the spacers.
