is there a way to check if timing belt will last a bit longer?

so i bought a tl with 220km he told me timing has to be done asap but i wanted to know if theres a way i can check on my integra the belt had some white lines so i knew it was pretty bad but is there a way to make sure that the belt wont snap

Timing belts are wear over time, more so than mileage. 7 years and it should be time to change.

well it was changed around 100 something he said isnt is supposed to be changed every 100 km

Find out when "100 something" was...if it was 7 years ago, then it's time to change. This is assuming you're not in "harsh" conditions. Check the owner's manual for those condition.

every 105k MILES is the suggested unless you live in far north canada or extreme heat arizona type conditions

iirc, the canada book calls for every 100,000 Kmeters which is a lot less than the usa cars suggested

With the main wear being on the inside edge of the belt its nearly impossible to test/view without removing the entire belt

Be aware this is a `zero clearance` engine and breakage of the belt or failure of its tensioner pulley will result in massive internal damage--basically needs new engine as a result

bought my car in a similar situation... changed the belt anyways. Its a piece of mind thing for me.

If you bought the car used and it has high mileage, do the timing belt regardless...
