I have been looking for an upgrade chip to increase performance and possibly get better gas milage. Has anyone seen anything?

There was the UniChip for the Type-S, but it was proved to be almost worthless, unless you got it dyno tuned for your mods. Seeing how the chip was like 600+ and a custom map would be another couple hundred probably, its not worth it for maybe 10 hp.
