I have checked with 2 acura and one Honda dealer about the airbag recall and what they said was..."nope, there is no such recall for 2000 TL". Is it just for the US or is it the entire northamerica?

anyhow, my 2000TL is not one of the TLs that needs to be brought back to the dealer

Have you check your manufacture date?
Maybe yours not it!!

Acura manufacture/ dealer has your VIN# on record. You will get a recall notice from them if indeed your car needs to have the airbag fix.

My TL was made 9/99. It was one of the TL recalled according to the internet, but is not according to 2 acura and one honda dealer.

I am very confused. Have you guys checked with your acura/honda dealer?

I am in canada... maybe there is no recalls for Canadian Acuras.

Sometimes, they don't call you for a recall. You have to find out if your car is suitable for a recall yourself. Last time, when we had seat belt buckle recall, I haven't received anything from the dealership.

I never recieve any mail for recalls, but I do check them with my dealer ship when ever there is one posted on the website. If there is recall...they will always let me know. I went and checked with 2 acura and 1 honda dealer, and they both told me that there was no recall for the passenger side airbag.
