I just forgot is there a light in the large armrest storage? I remember there is a light in there, but I recently found out it's not come up anymore. Can any one confirm if there is light in there? or that was just my imagination....

 

My 99TL has a light in there...

that was what I remembered. Guess I need to talk to the dealer while drop the car for timing belt update....

Does any one think replace that bulb will possibly break anything or cause any rattle in the armrest by dealer? I don't want to get any more rattles by just trying to get a small light fix.

Silly question:

Are you sure your headlight switch was on when you checked for the console light?

I thought there was no glove box light in my car until I realized that it only comes on when the headlight switch is on.

Yeah, I have tried that. It doesn't come up even when I turned the headlight on.

probably just a burned bulb ..... very easy repair
