is there a DIY for tie rod ends?
examine the parts for wear- measure the length of the current tie rod end space- set the new one close to that- and drive to alignment shop immedialty
need a pickle fork or tie rod end seperator tool and a big hammer
frankly- I would let the alignment shop do this job, and I have a skills~

^^^^agreed. If you haven't done this before there is a 1000% chance you will need an alignment anyways...and if the tie-rod end is really bad...good luck getting the castle nut off. I had to use an angle grinder to cut mine off.
