is there a difference in windshields, i have a 2001 TL, and my wind shield is cracked all the way across, and there is a 2003 windshield forsale in my area, i was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a difference in these 2.

 

as far as i know the only differences in the cars are from the firewall forward "body-wise"

i'd say your good to go on that windshiled.. but a second opinion couldnt hurt..

They're exactly the same.

 

so you are buying a used windshield, LMFAO, like $200-250 for a new one here installed (and a quality install too, with them using "nitrate" {the blue ones} gloves and such from screwing up the bonding of the sealant from your hand 's oil

 

tail lights are different

 

yes, but fitment is the same

and OP.. the 1st half of the 2nd Gen is 99-01...98's are the end of the 1st generation TL's..

 

even then other then like the radiator support up front, the front end is the same structually (so minus hood, fender, bumper, etc, etc) like the same frame rails and engine cradle/crossmember etc, etc. (even the accord and cl have the same framerails as ours, look up the part numbers)
