Haven't decided yet. There's a place in Upper Darby that does good work. You might know it, Spina & Adams. Either them or the Acura auto body behind the Automall.

No, I'm having my insurance estimate. I've heard bad things about GEICO estimating (when they're not your insurance and paying for their clients)

I'll let my insurance recover costs.

Hopefully, they estimate enough to cover it. If not, I'll just call the adjuster.

that is why i said to just let the body shop deal with the insurance, but yeah if the insurance overestimates you would not get the money then

why not to get the money , cause i would say 99% percent of the time when something is not cut and dry they will proably estimate the cheapest way of doing it

you could always go to a really cheap shop to save some money, but then you will get sub-par work

I don't see why though, my insurance would recover cost from the other guy's right? I don't see what motive they would have to not estimate it fairly...

yes your insurance would recieve there money from the other guy insurance (as long as it was his fault which it looks to be, but not getting into that), but anyways they will more then likely send the bill and recieve their money after your car is fixed and back on the the road

but what happens if you happen to have suspension damage (i know you say it did not hit the wheel, but what if it hit the tire, and the rain kept any marks from ever showing up), but checking for minor suspension damage is very hard to see (they are not getting down on their hand and knees to look underneth in there business clothes) till it is up on a alignment rack and is being measured (what happens if it needs a new knuckle (some cars are very easily damaged, on quite a few subarus [ i work alot on them] there is a rear suspension bolt that if you over tighten [even like 15-20 ft lbs) them it tweaks the knuckle, then it chews up rear wheel bearings for a living [depending how tight you overtightened] and the only way to fix is replacing the knuckle, so suspensions pieces can be very easily damage)

^ Good to know. Thanks.

And no worries on the fault thing. The other insurance already accepted liability and what not.

Just waiting for this adjuster to come out!! I can't stand looking at her like this anymore! lol

just my , a packed lot does not mean they do good work or anything, they can work slow and be very disorganized
