Tein upgraded springs
Tein upgraded springs
In response to this: http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...hreadid=100967
After practically a week here is my review:
1. The Tein springs don't seem to have settled any. I'm gonna continue to see if it will. I turned my coils down to the very bottom and I am barely gracing a 2.3 inch front drop. As opposed to being at 2.5 inch with about another .5 inch drop capable.
2. I turned the damper up to 5. I was at 8 before. I had previously ran at 0 and still had bottoming out issues with the old springs.
3. Ride comfort is only slightly harsher. About 10-15% harsher.
4. I can take corners much harder and sharper now and experience no body roll or the car dipping into one corner because the force is too strong. It feels solid now.
All in all...I definitely recommend these springs to anyone who is having issues with bottoming out. But keep in mind, at the moment these springs will NOT allow you to go any lower than 2.3 inchs. I'm gonna give another update in another week or so and see if it settles anymore.
Thank you.

Richard,
Do they have a shorter coil with the same spring rating? Another alternative I've heard of is to use two different springs stacked to give a "Progressive" spring result. It would take a bit of work to find the right combo though.
I didnt realize that you were dropped 2.5". With these springs, you should be ready for the track.
