tein ss coilovers............................
tein ss coilovers............................
i have a 03 tls. stock wheels no suspension mods. at all.
my worry is that i heard that the ss is not made for our cars and is for the accord, so there is a chance that it will bottom out at times. is this true has this happened to anyone?
also will gettting the comptech sways affect getting the ss coilovers?

It is true the TEIN ss is made for the accords, which are a couple of hundered pounds lighter than the TL.
That said, I have had no problems bottoming out. THe TEINs are awesome and are easily the best mod I've gotten for my TL.

The Tein's are adjustable... so you can adjust them to a level that won't bottom out and you'll be fine.
The sways will work with the coilovers (or any suspension setup) to improve cornering....

Will the Teins work?
I have the same question if the Teins will rub, BUT I have 17" Momo's and slightly larger Yokohama tires on which did created rubbing. The Momo's were supposed to have the correct offset but I have not checked. I trimmed off the fender tabs slightly in the back of the fender well as suggested. That cured it. I'm also puttung a woofer box in the trunk(heavy). Is there any way to predict if it will rub? How about if I have my wife and kids in it?
