Tein Coilovers...
What happened to the Teins? They aren't on the ACP site anymore. I want to order them and don't remember the part # on the SS' Can someone let me know where to get them and if they are any good (good vs bad experiences)? Thanks in advance.

The pros of the Tein is that they have an electronic adjusting kit that you can buy. So, you can adjust the stiffness on the fly. You can't adjust the height on the fly of course. But I think it's a very good thing to have, cuz you can have a stiff ride when you want to have fun, and an ultra soft ride when you just finished your dinner.
Remeber that you can't adjust the back shock stiffness without take off the backseat...

Tein has acknowledged this on their fitment guide for the EDFC. This really sucks as we previously installed and tested the system on an IS300 with the Tein Flex System coilovers and the EDFC worked as advertised.

I installed my Tein SS coilovers today. The front hood clearance is inadequate for the EDFC but the rear is worse. The EDFC requires 60mm diameter clearance and to accomodate the EDFC motor in the rear you would have to cut into the rear seat and also the top trim. Tough luck for us. FYI.
