A RL should be the same but on the accord/tl/cl you can use a tape covered flat head screwdriver to pry the switch out or you can remove the lower dash cover and squeeze the clips on the side of the switch and pull it out. the bulb is a simple one to replace turn it counter clockwise to remove and clockwise to install.

It's really that easy to replace the bulb on the 2G TL? I've been putting off replacing the bulbs on my fog light and climate control switches since they burned out - is replacing the bulbs on those buttons the same?

Yes its really that easy. With the climate control you have to remove the instrument cluster. That's really easy. If you can't find it pm me ill help you.
