tcs light is on??

tcs light is on??

Now ive done a search under tcs and nothing showed up. now has this happened to anyone? while driving down 295s i noticed my tcs light came on so i thought nothing of it and when i turn my car off and backl on its doesnt light up till i drive a bit? any suggestions? oh im currently getting new rotors and pad so hopefully that will get rid of the prob

so you're saying that it's off when you start the car..... and then turns on when you drive..? does this happen everytime?? are you sure you didn't hit it accidentally? is the light on, or is it blinking?

could it be related to your brakes???

it may be a early indicator of something else (sensor picking up a code) the tcs light will often times come on when the checkengine light comes on, but since you havent seen that come on id say something tcs related. its not brake related. next time it comes on drive it to a auto parts store and leave it running and have the code read

yea mine did that too the 2 times i had the P0401 code (the clogged egr ports)

ahh hell... my TCS has been fuckin up for years.... I finally got pissed... pulled apart the dash, snatched out that stupid light from behind the TCS indicator... and now evertime I start the car I just disengage the TCS system. LOL... i guess thats the ghetto way of fixing problems.

got me alil worried now. i took off da egr valve today and sprayed the heck out of it with some carb cleaner. the light came off and about 20 min later it came back on imma ry to clean 1 more time and if dat dont work imma get a new egr.

did you take off the upper intake manifold and clean it??? if not do that BEFORE you even think of spending the $$$ on a new egr

do that. thats where your clogging occurs. not in the egr itself

so i just take off the engine cover and unbolt off the uper manifold and thats it? wat about gaskets and stuff
