Yep, its possible. You just have to be careful on the rear window so you dont damage the defrosting strip and the antenna.

If you put Amonia on the tint it will start to curl. So just get a bottle of Windex or something and keep on spraying it while you try to take it off. I have never tried this or heard of it but it might work. Let me know what happens.

AC- i had to remove my tints from the front windows a couple of years ago. since were in the winter season, it would be best to heat the window up alittle with a hair dryers or heat gun, just don't over due it with the heat. use your fingernails to start the peeling from a cornor of something. be sure to keep the peeling back tight and close to the window. don't peel up - peel towards your body keeping it low. you will need lots of "nail polish remover" to remove the film. you should wear gloves when you apply the nail polish remove cause it starts to make your hands very cold(i should say freezing) and then it just takes longer to do it. i was able to do both my windows in about two hours and it came out just fine. hope this helps.

AC- of course not. ;your windows are in the sun at probably 150+ degress in the summer. all your going to do is heat the area up alittle and pull the film off. i'm no expert believe me, but my experience says you'll be fine. i'd do it without a doubtto my acura for sure. you could always call the guys that applied your tints. there're the experts.

1. Peel when it is warmer >65F
2. If wife antsy, use hairdryer on glass, curling iron would not work
3. When windows are warm to touch use razor blade (carefully) peel a corner out.
4. Once corner is peeled out, the work get easy.
5. Squirt bottle 1 part dishwasher liquid, 8 parts water. dont use glassplus or windex yet
6. Squirt liberally between glass and film.
7. If wife complains squirt her too.
8. Heat does help to soften the film a little so since she wants it out, have her hold the hair dryer and you can peel and squirt as required
9. after removal use windex to clean off residue.
10 wipe grime off wife's face

Man, I would ask the shop to quote me a price first... At least for the rear, I wouldn't want to mess up with the defroster lines.
Oh, as far as I know it's a ***** to clean off those sticky glue kinda thing on the winder after you pill the tint off.
This might take a little while, but good luck... God, you really are taking everything off huh......

Since you're wife is making you do all this to your TL you should get a little payback after you give her the TL by going out and buying an F1.

I've been telling people TL-S or 330Ci...sorry I lied to you guys. It's a secret.
Remember when Stylin' got his NOS and we were all dying for like 2 weeks to find out, sorry guys, this one's gonna las 2 or 3 months.
HINT #1:It's much faster than my TL
I'll give 1 hint per day...

oh thanks for the tips guys! I think I will pay $20 and let them deal with it. If they f*ck something up, well I guess they have to pay for it.

AC- i bet it's a 530. that's what i was going to get, i couldn't decide. but in the bay area, you have to wait for around 3-6mo. before you can have one. and the dealerships want top dollar for their cars and thier getting it. after two months of figuring out what i wanted in the bmw i realized it would put me@ 50k which was around 10k more than i wanted to spend and my wife would never let me spend that much money anyways. i really love my tl. so was i close??? probably not. there is a good newsgroup for bmw's " <A HREF="http://www.bimmer.org"" TARGET=_blank>www.bimmer.org"</A>
