Taking off group buy gauges

The speedometer needle popped off when I was removing the gauge overlay. Is there a certain way to put the needle back on? What needs to be done?

Also, tried to get the needle off so I can recalibrate it and it won't come off!

hahahaha have fun is all i can say. i did that too while installing mine. the easiest way to do it is to install the gauges without the plastic cover, then get some one to drive another car and pick a desired speed and when you 2 are driving at that speed put the needle on. you cant just start teh needle at the pin, it will be WAY off

I put the needle back on and I think I pushed down too hard. There is no space now between the needle and the gauge. How the hell do I get the needle back off?
