I got pulled over yesterday for having a "Tag light" out . i asked the officer if i could get out and look and it was out. above the plate, i could see the tag light, and it was on but really dim. i checked for fuses but none had anything about a tag light. what kind of bulb would i relace it with,

The bulb is a 12V-3CP To replace it you need a small phillips head screw driver to remove the 2 screws that hold the lens. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out push the new bulb in & reinstall the lens.

 

The License light? Bulbs type you want is a 168, a 194 bulbs fits but don't get a 194 because it dimmer. If its dim, then its not your fuse, probably the filament is going.
