Switched my '03 type S knob to an '08 S

Hey, so I swapped out the knobs, I posted last week regarding this topic. I love the feel of the new one, the leather feels awesome. Kinda sad theres no type S logo on there but overall, the knob feels a lot better on grip. Probably could've gone without it, but same goes for everything else I replaced.

Old knob, obviously

In case you didnt know how to take it off, just twist

Old one looks ooooold

I like it, looks cleaner without the flat top and sits lower.

My old knob barely cleared my screen.

Overall, I say it was a good mod. I bought it off ebay, so in case I overbidded someone here, I have a friend who works with fiberglass and carbon fiber and he "said" he'll wrap those wood grain looking things on the side for me with carbon fiber. Assuming he does, this knob would look sick. My gf is out of town so that means.........next mod

Very nice, I love the 08-S shift knob as well. I have one on my 03 TL, my fathers 05 TSX, my cousins 01 CL-S, and my girlfriend has one in her Scion TC (yup it fits) Everyone loves the way it looks and feels.

thanks for all the feedback all. the knob is awesome, I liked my original type S knob a lot but wanted to give this one a try. I like how the old one has the S logo on it but after a few days of using it. I doubt I will switch back. The newer S knob feels so good. Damn the leather on that knob is plain sick! I ended up picking up the knob for around 30ish shipped from ebay . But It was a steal so that is another reason why I got it.
