Okay so I'm already sick of the chrome painted white blinkers after I got my 6000k's... so I'm looking into hopping onto the switchback LED bandwagon and get them from autolumination. I don't know if I should get the 20, 30, or 48 LED's. What do you guys/gals have?

Also I was wondering what corner bulb would match the 6000K's, cuz my friend hooked me up with blue colored bulbs, but they look yellow compared to my low beam's

... I don't want 3 different tones of white/blue light (like some ppl, lol)... 2 maximum if it doesn't look bad.

one last question, i was doing a search of the legality of white front turn signals, and came up with different answers. Anyone know the law for cali?

You need to have the blinkers amber IIRC


The number is just the number of individual LEDs that the bulb has

so switchbacks are illegal too? it isn't legal if it just blinks amber?

Yeah I know it's personal preference for the number of LED's, but I just wanted something that wouldn't be too bright for the blinker area.

I'm not sure if they are illegal or not, you'd have to check your local laws. Some places not only require amber blinkers, but amber corners as well (so the lighting up white and blinking amber won't work).

Iono bout you, but my tails blink white and I still haven't gotten a ticket or fix it ticket yet....4 years with it on nada.

California Vehicle Code Section 24953

a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear.

they are legal and get the 30 one i hate how the 48 blinks looks tacky!
