unless its a large scale exhaust shop most wont have mandrel bending machines. good benders cost around 6 grand, if you want mandrel capabilities the cheapest upgrade for that is another 5 grand...11 grand...the market isnt that big for custom bent mandrel WHICH you cannot already buy through a supplier. If there are no mandrel systems for the TL cat back there are two options. You get a regular bent system made and then take it to an industrial plant with mandrel capabilities and have them build you one (usually they wont make just one unless you pay a ton of money) or you order a hotrod kit from magnaflow which has various 90 degree, 45 degree, 15 degree etc. length pipes and have the shop make it that way. thats also fairly expensive. there is nothing wrong with using a regular bender...as long as they dont overdo the bends everything will be fine.

doesn anyone here have headers that have a exhaust system? how does your car sound as far as the resonance from the headers? does an exhaust system take away from the resonance? im currently looking for an exhaust for my car and i have crazy resonance from my stone racing headers...and right now i have stock exhaust with no resonators....imo sounds like crap!!! sounds all raspy at 2800-3000 rpms

any input would greatly be appreciated

the resonance is a design flaw in the headers and no exhaust will take care of it. you should contact stone and see if they offer a replacement for them

thats a pretty good price for parts and install. expect that to retail normally for around 600...all depends on the mufflers though.

thats about what i paid here in NJ.
and i just walked into a Midas shop.
i didn't get mandrel bending(didn't care).
and he didn't use the Mgnaflow y pipe i purchased.
did his own...said he did he's done it before.
and oh yeah...this was the branch manager of the shop that did
this...not the yungins working there.
