Teflon tape doesn't matter. It wears out in a few months and the bushings start squeaking, anyway. Go to an auto parts store and get a can of white lithium grease. It's like 4 bucks for a big can that will last your lifetime. Spray that on the sway bars (where it meets the bushings) and on the inside of the bushings, too.
Rear one is very straight forward. The front, you have to take the sway bar out up over the catalytic converter. Play around for a little bit and you will get it out. But make sure you remember how you took it out, so you can backtrack and put the new one in. Wrap the new one in saran wrap to avoid scratching. Granted you will see it like two times for the rest of your life, but it's just nice to not get scratches on the new parts.

It WAS in the DIY section. Wonder when that will come back. They should of had the teflon tape, I got it and about it wearing out? I don't hear any squeaks after 9 months or it just may be because I have the music too loud.

just a note..
to get the front sway out and the new one in.
u have to roll the sway bay backwards...so it point backwards, to get out over the exhaust pipe.
but to do this you have jack the car up very high.
i did mine using a floor jack.
if you're on a lift,it's not an issue.
cheers.

get the socket allens..
the little l-shaped allens aren't worth a shit.
and don't strip it!..
or you're f'ed.
how old is this car?.
i have a 99.
it helped me to clean the thread with a wire brush and soak the link alot before loosening it.
and, it may be very tight the whole way off the link.
be patient.
