Are you asking for the factory bar diameter?
Most are 21mm and the replacement upgrades are 23mm

Start with the upper strut tower bar and lower frame stiffner from MrHeelToe if you want to build a strong car for better cornering.
Reduced frame flex is the base for a good handling ride

The strut tower bar is the last thing you should buy for the ua5 to increase handling
The car comes with a 4 point upper strut tower bar stock...

The Eibach FSB is also 27mm and hollow, just like stock. The Eibach rears are 23mm, 4mm thicker than stock. I can't find any specs on the Comptech sways. In searching the web, I see that Neuspeed offers sways too, but both the front and rear are same diameter as stock!

2nd Gen TL's have front and rear sway bars, no 4-point strut tower brace though...get some good thick solid sways and some cusco rear lower arm bars.

These will greatly reduce body flex in the rear and the sways will reduce some off the roll front and rear.

Just pop the hood and you'll see we have a 4pt strut tower brace...it's so easy even a caveman can do it.

Pop the hood and look again.

Comptech sway bars are 27/22, but the wall thickness is higher than the OEM bar in the front. Rear is thicker and solid.

I don't have any chassis braces and I don't think it's really necessary. I didn't experience the need for it, and I've put my car through a lot.

Granted, it wouldn't really hurt, but you're not going to see any huge improvements, either. The front already has a 4-point brace, and the aftermarket rear lower braces you see are so fucking flimsy, and the mounting points aren't really going to get any support from those tiny little bars.

For some reason I thought that was a sway bar and the strut tower bar actually mounted directly on top of the strut tower assembly not slightly to the front of it. Yes it is a strut tower bar indeed though. Just confused cos it didn't look quite as beefy as what i imagine a strut tower brace to look like (such as the cusco and comptech braces), rather it looks like a piece of cheap flimsy metal, but probally makes a difference either way. Good jab at my Avatar though It's whatever, go buy yourself some damn sways now....

I think it has more to do with the design and less to do with thickness. If you notice the ver. 2 system make use of an A-frame which is very strong due more in part to the design itself rather than wall thickness. Strength comes in triangles. Sure it's only a minor upgrade, but really does compliment sway bars, coilovers, ect. Just an option. I'll shut up now though, cos' I'm not willing to go look behind my rear axles next. Peace see ya later!

Not quite sure where you guys are getting your info. This is an '07, right?

According to the Acura website, under specifications, it lists:

BASE: Front: 27.2mm diameter, 5mm wall thickness
Rear: 18.3mm diameter, 3.0mm wall thickness

TYPE S: Front: 27mm solid
Rear: 20mm solid

Just for shits & giggles, the rear bar on the Type "S" is the same as my '05, which, since it is a 6MT comes with the A-Spec suspension. The front bar is also the same diameter, only my '05 is not solid. It is a 5.0mm wall thickness.
The automatic (non-Aspec) came with 25.4mm/4.5mm thickness on the front.
The rear was 17mm solid.
