Suspension Question

I am driving around a 99 TL with rims from the 05 TL 17/45/245 is the size I think . I am planning on getting H&R OE springs so I have barely any drop. Is there anything better that might not give me as much drop!

Second, I don't think it matters, I definately think I am getting the H&R springs but what is a good shock to go along with them. I was thinking the Tokico Blues or Yellows but are they going to drop my car any more and how stiff are they?

I am sorry if this is a repeat question but I searched the forums for something close and cpuldn't find an answer, so any help would greatly be appriated.

any less lower than the OE and you would be at stock height, Why lower it if your going for less than the OE? you will probably rub unless you get a better fiting rim or smaller tire

Understood but the rims work fine now with stock suspension. I just would like a nicer tighter suspension then stock without lowering the ride height. I am also wondering if the struts lower the car any?

Check out this thread. If you scroll all the way to the bottom you will see pics of my car...I've got the H&R OE and Tokico Blues and I think they're great. Of course this is the only setup I've had so I don't have anything else to compare it to.

No...struts will not lower it at all. Your ride height is determined by the springs and the firmness is a combination of the spring and the strut.

. . .
Your car must be blindlingly slow with such wide tires as 245.

H&R OE's give the least amount of drop available...no aftermarket spring drops less. You must remember, yes the OE's give the least drop, but they are also the softest springs as well. In general(and to a certain point), the lower you go, the stiffer the ride, the better the handling. Guys correct me if I'm off base here but I believe what I said is true.
