Lightbulb Survey!

How did you find out about ACURA-TL.com and this Discussion Forum?

Did you use a Search engine like Yahoo (Acura TL search)? Did you hear about us first on Honda-Acura.net? Maybe you read the article in Sport Compact Car magazine?

Please take a moment to tell us, even if you've never posted before. Your input is appreciated. Thanks

I found H-A.net after I purchased my '99 TL, where my lust for customizing my TL was started by long-time members, AcuraTL, 1999TL, Diplo, and Jedi and of course I met SNooK there. Now just look at me

Search engine got me to H-A.net, from there heard all the good things about Tim's site including the fact that it doesn't crash every 2nd day. Never been back since. This is home

I found this site via Edmunds. Somebody asked a question on Edmunds that had been discussed here. They were referred to come here to get the answer, so I came over to also see the answer and I have been an observer and infrequent poster since.

Met one friend's mod TL in pureHonda.com and he gave me this site. By the way, how many were the April or May registered members?

I helped market this forum to the masses when SnooK created it... I remember a large chunk of users trying to display HAnet loyalty at that time... and now loook at ya!

I think it was mentioned in an Acura Yahoo club. Don't bother looking for that club. It was pretty pathetic.

Like many of the folks above, I looked for, and found the old Honda-Acura.net after I purchased my TL. After the numerous hacks, I located this web site (I do not remember how - bad drugs, I guess). I have found this site to be both entertaining, and a great source of information. Tim has indeed done a great job on maintaining and improving this Website! Thanks snook, we all appreciate it!

Right there with ya... I remember when Tim first created it. Though acura-tl.com really didn't take off until Tim put up the UBB... then it grew like wildfire.

I was personally invited by Snook after I bought the Comptech headers through a failed groupbuy at autocarparts.com. We were trying to arrange a groupbuy with the members of when I heard about Tim and his online store. From time to time snook post stuff up on

Tim, like when I used to drive my car, and ppl would ask where i got mods, I would say, go to www.acura-tl.com I'd give them my email, then they'd email me back saying something along the lines of, "Holy sh!t, you guys are crazy, spending all that time and money on a car...I love it" Too bad I never got that dude's sn, if you're here, you probably know who you are.

I've known Tim, since the old days of HA.net
