Supercharger PSI?

Anyone know the minimum and maximum PSI for the CT supercharger? Secondly, this may seem "noob-esque" but, is the dark grey plastic engine cover absolutely required to operate the car?

I dont know the answer to the supercharger ? but no you dont need the plastic cover to operate the car. But the engine alone looks dirty the cover makes it look 100 times better....
