Well I just got back from part 1 of the sc install ... i think we got the harder parts done ... its really not even that hard just a pain to manuver tools.

IT HELPS IMENSELY TO TAKE THE HOOD OFF !!! Thats the first thing i wanted to say ... cut off about 2-3 hours of work im guessing once we finish. Especially with the spark plugs. Um .... the comptech instructions are great .. but would help if they were more specific in certain items .. ie. when it says "you will be using this hose later" And it doesnt say wether or not you need to take the hose off or leaeve it on.

UM ... we got up to the battery and tray install after skipping the alternator because we didnt have the proper 22mm inclined wrench to hold the pulley while we changed it to the high boost pulley.

heh, must be nice to know you have some adoring fans out there.

i have to say that i felt the instructions were a bit generic myself when i went through them. but please do take pictures of anything you think is redeeming. they will definitely be a big help to anyone doing an s/c install.
