Talking Supercharger

I noticed that the only turbo/supercharger kit i could find for a 2002 TL-S was made by CompTech and they're discontinued. I want to supercharge the car for low/mid performance but I can't seem to find the right stuff. I noticed they made one for the Gen 3 TL/TL-S but discontinued the Gen 2. The Gen 3 has the same engine size as the TL-S so I'm PRRREEEETTTYYYY sure the supercharger would fit, but then again I have no idea. Anyone have any insight on this? Could i buy a Gen 3 kit for the Gen 2 and possibly have to fabricate a couple things? And if not anyone know of a generic supercharger that would work on my TLS?

Comptech is the only option I've ever heard of, and I haven't heard of anyone fitting the 3G kit to the 2G. I'm not sure that it's possible, but I wouldn't bet on it. 3G is a 3.5 engine and 2G is 3.2, not to mention that transmissions are different, engine bays are laid out slightly differently, etc. If you are seriously looking to supercharge your car, you can expect to spend 4 or 5 thousand on parts alone. It's feasible, but it'll be hella expensive, and at this point it'll probably cost more than our cars are worth.

For the kind of money spent on the Comptech S/C you can build a 3.7L Engine and Turbo it and get probably +600whp before the AUTO trans granades itself. Sooooooo now you know why they aren't that popular.

the 3rd Gen had 3.2 and 3.5L engines. But regardless I'm 99% sure it won't fit.

OP, just keep an eye in the black market. They tend to go for 2.5-3k these days with everything you need.
